  1. Reboot your phone.
  2. Turn on “Location” in your phone settings.
  3. Go to System Settings → Apps → ViHealth → Permissions → Allow Location Access.

No, this device is not suitable for infants. It is recommended for children ages 3 to 10.

  • Remove the device from your child’s finger.
  • Wait for the on-screen countdown to finish — the data will then be ready for syncing.
  • Open the ViHealth app to automatically sync the data.
  • You can also sync next time you turn on the monitor and open the app.

No, it’s not necessary.

The LOOKEE KidsO2 has built-in memory, so it will continue recording even when the app is closed. However, you can open the app anytime to adjust device settings or review previous data.

The device can store up to four (4) sessions of data in its memory.

Does my phone or tablet need to stay close to my child during use?

Not necessarily.

  • With walls or obstacles, the Bluetooth range is about 10 meters (33 ft).
  • Without walls, the range can reach up to 20 meters (66 ft). You’ll still receive real-time audio alerts through the app if your child’s oxygen level drops.

The thumb is the recommended finger for best accuracy. If the thumb feels too tight, you may use the index finger instead. Try adjusting the sensor’s position or rotation slightly to ensure a snug, comfortable fit — avoid any gaps between the sensor and the finger, as loose fitting can cause inaccurate readings.

Yes, you can customize the alarm settings when the monitor is connected to your phone or tablet. You can:

  • Turn the alarm on or off
  • Change the alarm thresholds

Simply connect the KidsO2 to your phone, and the device’s clock will automatically sync with your phone’s time.
